KARACHI, Apr 18 (APP): On the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, a collection of crackdowns in opposition to drug sellers in numerous districts of Sindh is underway.
Twenty-six different drug sellers had been arrested within the ongoing crackdown by the Narcotics Excise Management and the Police of assorted districts.
Eighteen kilograms of cannabis, about one kilogram of ice, dangerous gutka mawa, uncooked liquor and different medicine had been seized from the suspects.
The Narcotics Excise Management staff in Gulstan and Johar space of Karachi arrested the accused Abid, son of Shah Muhammad.
The Divisional Particular Squad established on the orders of Senior Excise Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon in Hyderabad arrested an accused Kashif Makrani, throughout an operation in Makrani Muhalla, who was supplying medicine in an academic establishment. Badin police arrested infamous drug vendor Mushtaq Mallah alias Mama Mushtaq and recovered 2025 grams of cannabis. In one other operation by the Badin police, Gutka vendor Mashooq Shaikh was arrested, and 600 packets of dangerous Gutka had been seized.
Kadhan, Badin police arrested drug vendor Sikander Ali Shoro and recovered 10 liters of uncooked liquor from his possession. Additionally, Gutka vendor Muhammad Hanif Mallah was arrested and 300 packets had been confiscated. Nindo police arrested drug vendor Nasrullah Khoso with 10 liters of uncooked liquor.
In Badin's Kario Ganhwar space, Gutka vendor Sarfraz Korejo was arrested and 200 packets of dangerous gutka had been seized.
Infamous drug vendor Atta Muhammad alias Attani Magsi was arrested with a gun in a police encounter by Ghorabari police of Thatta.
In response to the police, the accused Atta Muhammad alias Attani Magsi is a giant vendor of ice and heroin in Thatta and different areas.
Then Allahiyar B Part Police arrested the accused Lalu with 1300 grams of cannabis throughout a focused operation.
One other police operation in Haji Mir Bahar village of Tando Allahyar led to the arrest of accused Sajjad Ali Mallah and the restoration of 100 liters of uncooked liquor. A complete of 1640 grams of cannabis, 3950 packets of Gutka Mawa, 91 kg of Gutka making materials, and a copious quantity of uncooked liquor had been recovered from the suspects.
Commenting on the profitable operations of Excise and Police, Sindh Senior Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Management, Sharjeel Inam Memon appreciated the dedication and bravado of Excise and Law enforcement officials.
He warned that these concerned in smuggling and different legal actions can be dropped at justice.
He emphasised that efforts will proceed to eradicate the scourge of medication and guarantee a secure future, leaving no stone unturned to take care of the rule of legislation.
