Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey (D) on Tuesday awarded 50 grants totaling $2,350,000 to hashish social fairness companies in 28 communities by means of the Hashish Social Fairness Belief Fund (CSETF). The fund was established to supply monetary help to eligible candidates and encourage full participation within the hashish business for the state's grownup entrepreneurs from communities which have been disproportionately harmed by prohibition and enforcement of hashish.

“Our administration is dedicated to righting the historic wrongs of the Struggle on Medicine, each to deal with inequities within the legal justice system and to advance fairness within the hashish business. With the Hashish Social Fairness Belief Fund, we’re making a sustainable and inclusive path to business for Massachusetts entrepreneurs who’ve confronted boundaries to entry. This funding will fill the crucial gaps wanted to allow social fairness companies to develop and succeed right here in Massachusetts”. – Healey, in a press launch
