The primary individual they went to was Allen, whose district historically hosts the pleasure parade.

Allen gave $50,000 from his district's funds and helped persuade town to pay one other $80,000 to assist fund the competition.
“It's actually essential to me as a mom of a queer little one and as an advocate for the LGBTQ+ group that this occurs,” Allen mentioned.
The president of the Lengthy Seashore Delight nonprofit mentioned town's assist this yr is permitting them to get again on their toes.
“We're shifting ahead and doing our greatest to maintain it affluent,” Martin mentioned.
