A former US Customs and Border Safety (CBP) officer was convicted this week of bribery after he allowed autos carrying unlawful medication to enter the US from Mexico in change for big funds from legal organizations.
Leonard Darnell George, who labored on the San Ysidro border crossing between San Diego and Tijuana earlier this decade, was convicted Monday by a federal jury in U.S. District Courtroom in San Diego.
