Ne-Yo’s wife, Crystal Renay, has filed for divorce after six years of marriage just days after accusing him of infidelity with multiple different women.
In court documents, obtained by TMZ, the 36-year-old California native, who first met her estranged spouse during a casting call for the music video for his song Non-Fiction, claimed he ‘recently fathered a child with another woman.’
Since their date of separation, which she lists as July 22, 2022, she stated that she has been caring of their three kids and is seeking primary physical custody of the kids and joint legal custody.

Additionally, Renay is looking for child support and alimony.
On Saturday, Renay accused the star of being continually unfaithful over the span of their eight-year relationship in a text post uploaded to Instagram.
The model slammed the singer for ‘eight years of lies and deception’ and claimed that he had cheated with ‘women who sell their bodies to him unprotected’ and that she’s only gained ‘wasted years and heartache’ from their union.
A day later, Ne-Yo took to Twitter to say that he was not interested in speaking publicly about the split. He said, ‘For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors. Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums.’

The posts come after the couple gave their marriage a second chance and tied the knot again in a Las Vegas wedding in April, after previously getting married in 2016. The couple share sons Shaffer, 6, and Roman, 4, along with daughter Isabella, 13 months. They briefly split in early 2020, but reconciled a few months later.

‘To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist,’ she went on.
‘I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t. I choose me, I choose my happiness and health and my respect I gained 3 beautiful children out of this but nothing else but wasted years and heartache,’ she continued.
She then pleaded with fans to stop sending her videos of her husband allegedly out with other women.
‘I ask that you all please stop sending me videos and information of him cheating because what he does is no longer my concern. I am not a victim.’

‘I’m choosing to stand tall with my head held high. If someone can’t love you the way you deserve then it’s up to you to love yourself. With no hate in my heart I wish him nothing but the best,’ she wrapped up her statement, which was captioned ‘God bless.’
Crystal also posted two inspirational quotes to her story that appeared to refer to the state of mind she was in. The first one read: ‘You don’t need closure from them. Because true closure is realizing your worth, choosing yourself, and walking away to get what you deserve.’
The second one stated: ‘There’s still women out here that don’t want anything from a man. Not money, materialistic things, nothing… nothing but trust, love, support & lots of affection. I’m her. She is me. I’m one of those women.’

It comes after the pair got married for the second time, six years after first tying the knot and two years after a divorce filing that was quickly withdrawn.

The couple’s second son, Roman Alexander-Raj Smith, was born in June 2018, while they welcomed their third child, Isabella Rose Smith, in June 2021.
