A diver labored diligently to take away a stray fishing hook from the mouth of a frightened stingray.
Good Samaritan Raffa Wake-Valais Sarbach was having fun with the clear waters of the Dominican Republic this month when he and his companion noticed the ghost fishing line.
They noticed that three fish had been already lifeless hooked up to a hook alongside the road of 20 meters, however, after noticing {that a} juvenile ray was caught at one finish, a hook caught in its mouth.
After appropriately turning the beam, the 37-year-old divemaster labored for nearly 5 minutes to dislodge the hook within the animal's mouth with out inflicting damage.
