A North Carolina faculty district is asking its 225 academics to pay every $1,250 after receiving accident pay.
U Charlotte-Mecklenburg Colleges The district (CMS) apologized to academics for the Jan. 12 bonuses they stated have been a pay error. The district seen the error 5 days in a while Jan. 17 and notified academics on Jan. 18, in accordance with a launched assertion.
The 225 academics “could have the choice to repay the bonus in a lump sum from their February examine or they will select a cost plan with deductions over three months,” in accordance with the assertion.
The district stated the bonuses have been just for new academics as an incentive to recruit them to work in CMS colleges, PEOPLE reported.
