York Regional Police (YRP) arrested two Richmond Hill residents and seized almost $9 million price of cocaine following a drug trafficking investigation dubbed “Venture Aries.”
The investigation started in September after police realized of two suspects believed to be in possession of enormous quantities of cocaine.
In January, search warrants had been executed at a Vaughan locker and at a residence in Richmond Hill, the place the 2 suspects had been arrested.
Officers seized $8.9 million price of cocaine, $260,000 in money and $100,000 in luxurious clothes.
YRP launched a video of the seized gadgets on Thursday, displaying dozens of luggage of cocaine and stacks of $50 and $100 payments.
Alisha Kokko, 30, and William Phung, 39, had been charged with possession for the aim of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
