The AFL has been accused of a “multi-million greenback fraud” with bombshell testimony exposing an alleged systematic “cover-up” of drug-taking within the league.
A whistleblower physician has filed allegations that the league facilitated a secret, off-the-books, drug-testing operation designed to stop gamers from testing constructive for cocaine.
Federal MP Andrew Wilkie on Tuesday evening dropped a bombshell on the soccer code in Parliament, citing claims from Melbourne Demons membership physician Zeeshan Arain, former Melbourne Soccer Membership president Glen Bartlett and Joel's father Shaun Smith.
Joel Smith is going through allegations of Anti-Doping Rule Violations (ADRV) for “Trafficking or Tried Trafficking” of cocaine to 3rd events.
Sports activities Integrity Australia (SIA) in February introduced that Smith was discovered to have cocaine and benzoylecgonine – the principle substance of the drug – in his system after the Demons' Spherical 23 win over Hawthorn on August 20, 2023 .
This scandal could also be simply the tip of the iceberg, as reported by the bombshell deal with that Mr. Wilkie despatched to the Home of Representatives on Tuesday night.
Mr Wilkie stated he had signed the testimony of all three shooters.
