The Hawks' Critical Organized Crime Investigation Unit in Pietermaritzburg seized an enormous consignment of cocaine on Wednesday.
KZN Hawks spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Simphiwe Mhlongo mentioned they seized 20 bricks of cocaine at one of many industrial parks close to Pietermaritzburg.
Mhlongo mentioned members obtained details about a truck carrying a chemical sprayer tractor from Durban port to the Free State province.
He mentioned {that a} disruptive operation was shortly carried out and the members proceeded to the mentioned industrial park.
“The mentioned truck was traced and located stationary.
