Former Detroit Lions participant Cameron Sutton has turned himself in to Florida police to face home violence expenses, greater than three weeks after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
ESPN reported that the warrant was issued on March 7 and police requested for public assist monitoring down Sutton on March 20.
On Sunday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Workplace (HCSO) in Tampa stated it had taken Sutton, 29, into custody.
Sutton faces expenses of home battery by strangulation.
The Lions released the defensive back, external on March 21 after calling the police.
His lawyer stated his consumer was to be handed over to authorities in Tampa on March 25, however he didn’t report back to Orient Street Jail till 20:24 native time on Sunday, the HSCO stated in an announcement.

The Lions signed Sutton to a three-year, $33m (£26.1m) contract from the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023 and he began all 17 regular-season video games in addition to three play-off video games final season.
