The authorities have introduced the biggest cargo of cocaine seizure of the 12 months within the Caribbean Sea off Colombia after army ships and plane chased down a speedboat containing practically 4 tons of medication.

In a joint operation between the Colombian Military, the Colombian Air Pressure and the Joint Interagency Job Pressure of the US Southern Command, authorities seized the cocaine – stated to be price greater than $113 million – from the close by vessel to San Andrés Isla, in line with the Colombian navy. The navy launched a dramatic aerial video of the chase, throughout which it stated the crew of the suspect vessel “started evasive actions, throwing packages into the water.”

After a chase that spanned a number of miles, the boat — which lined its cargo in a blue tarp — was lastly intercepted, officers stated. Three Colombians, a Honduran and a Venezuelan who had been on board the speedboat had been arrested, and subsequent exams confirmed that the boat had carried 3,355 kilograms of cocaine, or about 3.7 tons of the drug.
