BROWNSVILLE, Texas – America Workplace of Discipline Operations assigned to the Worldwide Veterans Affairs Bridge intercepted a cargo of suspected cocaine valued at roughly $366,183 hidden in a 2018 Nissan.

The seizure occurred on Friday, January 26 on the Worldwide Veterans Bridge, when a 50-year-old US citizen residing in Brownsville, Texas, tried to enter the US in a 2018 Nissan. The car is was referred to secondary CBP for additional examination after a major inspection. Whereas within the secondary inspection space, with the assistance of a canine unit, CBP officers found 14 packages hidden within the car. CBP officers seized the packages containing a complete of 27.42 kilos of suspected cocaine.
The estimated road worth of the cocaine from the seizure is roughly $366,183.
